The Middle Tennessee Oral History Project
The Gore Center's Middle Tennessee Oral History Project (click here for a complete listing) offers personal interviews from veterans of the middle Tennessee region. These oral histories include memories of military activities on the front lines, military maneuvers in middle Tennessee, and civilian memories of the home-front.

The Albert Gore Research Center, in partnership with the Library of Congress, is currently seeking interviews with veterans in coordination with the center's Middle Tennessee Veteran's Oral History Project. The project is administered by the American Folk Life Center, which assists in preserving oral testimonies, documents, and memorabilia from the men and women who served in all branches of the military. The project encourages veterans from all 20th century wars to participate. Betty Rowland, the Albert Gore, Sr. Research Center's Executive Aide, conducts most of the interviews. For more information on this project please contact the Gore Center at (615) 898-2632.
