Box 1:  Subject Files (1 box, 7 folders)

          Seven folders pertaining to Murphy’s student and professional careers are located    in Box 1.

Box 2:  Scrapbook (1 box)

            A scrapbook about MTSTC athletics dating from the 1930s is located in Box 2.

Box 3:  Ephemera (1 box)

This box contains an inscribed scrapbook cover and a 1964 Ohio Valley

Conference Championship desktop penholder inscribed with Murphy’s name.

Related Materials: 

• The MT Athletics Collection contains materials relating to university athletics.  Since Murphy participated in and coached a number of sports, some of these materials may indirectly pertain to him.

• In addition, the Q.M. Smith Oral history Collection contains an interview (42, 43, and 44) with Charles Murphy and wife Leona.

Additional Notes:

• The Murphy Photograph Collection is housed separately from the main collection.  It is located in the university section of the photograph aisle.
