Vincent Thompson shares memories of the home front during World War II.

"Well, they were all patriotic and everything and done whatever that our government had passed.  We obeyed all of the laws and tried to conserve gasoline, electricity, and everything, and like a lot of stuff that was rationed that you couldn't get, and everything.  We just done without and everything because there was a shortage of it and everything that was rationed. We went along with it."
