Hershel Mullins has operated Mullins Jewelry on the Murfreesboro square since 1938.  He shares memories from his life.

"And during the Depression I remember one thing.  We sold some hogs that were called top hogs.  When they was tops they weighed about two hundred pounds and we sold some for as little as two cents a pound."
