Jack Jenny was a B-24 pilot in WWII and shares memories of
being escorted by the Tuskegee Airman fighter pilots.
"They flew P-51s. Any other escorts we had, when we came to the bomb run where you turn on the IP and fly straight and level, they would leave. They would go outside and sit there because that's where the flack gets the heaviest. When the Tuskegee flew escort, they would go down a bomb run with us. They would zigzag back and forth. That would mess up German radar cause they weren't too sure where we were. Flack would be all over the sky. Course we like that; course they were taking a risk. They took a risk because they're flying through flack, too."
