SERIES DESCRIPTIONS

Series 1: Correspondence, 1940-1945 (33 Folders)
Includes letters from Alexander to his parents, sister, and brother-in-law, written from different training locations where he was assigned. Some of the letters are from the Delgado Trades School, Keesler Field, Miami and India.  Arranged chronologically.

Series 2: Personal, 1941-1943 (2 Folders)
Includes two diaries recounting Alexander's experiences during the 1940s, and miscellaneous materials such as commencement programs, a Consolidated Vultee Dive Bomber patch, and other papers.  Arranged by item type.

Series 3: Publications, 1944-1997 (3 Folders)
Includes Alexander's autobiography entitled It Happened Sorta. . .Like This, and two booklets:   “Eighth Reconnaissance Group Activities from January 1 1945-June 30, 1945" and  “The 10th Photo Tech in India, 1944-45.”  Arranged alphabetically by title.
