Former Gore Center graduate assistant, Perky Beisel, graduated in August 2005 with her Doctor of Arts in History. Her dissertation is on "The American Upper Class and the American Horse Industry, 1865-1929." Dr. Beisel is now Assistant Professor of History at Stephen F.
