Scope and Content
The Dot Harrison collection contains 5 linear feet of materials regarding Harrison’s work within the Middle Tennessee State University and Murfreesboro community dating from 1974 to 1997. The collection includes membership rosters and handbooks for the Girls State summer program from 1988 to 1996, programs from various MTSU events including presidential inaugurations and building dedications, rosters and correspondence regarding the MTSU Student Ambassador program from 1977-1995, and materials produced for various MTSU publicity campaigns. The collection also contains records of her work with the Nissan Affiliate Artist program and an extensive collection of MTSU newspaper clippings dating from 1971 to 1993.
