SERIES DESCRIPTION

Series 1:  University Correspondence, 1954-1965 (1 box, 4 folders)

The correspondence of Ortrun Gilbert with fellow Middle Tennessee State College faculty and staff members encompasses the majority of this series.

Series 2:  Non-University Materials (1 box, 7 folders)

Correspondence with individuals and companies outside of Middle Tennessee State College forms the bulk of the Publications series.  In addition, a Tennessee Teacher’s Retirement certificate, some of Gilbert’s national and international academic transcripts, and miscellaneous notes are housed in this series.

Series 3:  Programs (1 box, 4 folders)

This series contains an assortment of programs from the Frances Bohannon Music Club, The Dames Club of Middle Tennessee State College, Delta Kappa Gamma Society International, and The Woman’s Musicale.

Series 4:  Audiovisuals (1 box, 3 items)

This series consists of three magnetic tapes reels.  These reels feature two Circle Theater performances and a Neil Diamond recording.
